Villa Nicolas is completely autonomous in two levels with 150m2, of living space in 1000m2 of plot land. The villa is set in Plaka, a friendly little village with an excellent view of Almyrida, Souda Bay and the azure Sea of Crete. A lovely main square provides the village’s focal point, where locals and visitors meet in the cafeterias and kafeneia.

Villa Nicolas is for your private use only. Bed linen & towels are provided as well as pool towels. Cleaning is during your stay and depending on how many days you are staying. All of this is included in the price.

Nicolas war von Anfang bis Ende ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Er hat uns persönlich begrüßt, uns herumgeführt und sich wirklich dafür interessiert, dass unser Aufenthalt auf Kreta ein schönes Erlebnis wird. Da es Weihnachtszeit war, war das Haus festlich dekoriert, was es besonders warm und einladend machte. Außerdem hat er die Küche mit Speiseöl und Grundgewürzen ausgestattet – durchdachte Details, die das Einleben sehr erleichtert haben. Nicolas hat sich genau im richtigen Maß gemeldet, um hilfreich zu sein, aber nie aufdringlich. Meine Frau und ich haben seit unserer Pensionierung im September in mehreren Airbnbs in vier Ländern übernachtet, und Nicolas hebt sich wirklich als herausragender Gastgeber hervor. Das Haus bietet einen Blick auf die Weißen Berge, und die Aussicht war unvergesslich. Wir kamen Anfang Dezember an, als nur die Gipfel mit Schnee bedeckt waren, und konnten beobachten, wie der Schnee im Laufe des Dezembers langsam die Berge hinabzog, bis es Januar wurde. Hoch oben auf einem Hügel gelegen, bietet das Haus wunderbare Privatsphäre und ein tiefes Gefühl von Ruhe. Nicolas was a superb host from start to finish. He welcomed us in person, showed us around, and took a genuine interest in making sure our Crete experience was a good one. Since it was Christmastime, the house was decorated festively, which made it feel especially warm and welcoming. He also stocked the kitchen with cooking oil and starter seasonings—thoughtful touches that made settling in easy. Nicolas checked in just enough to be helpful, never intrusive. My wife and I have stayed in multiple Airbnbs across four countries since retiring in September, and Nicolas truly stands out as a top host. The home overlooks the White Mountains, and the view was unforgettable. We arrived in early December with only the peaks dusted in snow and watched the snow gradually spill down the mountains as December turned to January. Perched atop a hill, the home offers wonderful privacy and a deep sense of tranquility.

Der Ort war sogar noch besser als auf den Fotos. Sehr stilvoll, absolut atemberaubende Aussicht. Sehr ruhig mit nur einem Nachbarn, den wir kaum gesehen haben. Nicolas war der perfekte Gastgeber – er war da, um uns zu begrüßen und alle Fragen zu beantworten, hat uns aber auch unseren Urlaub genießen lassen. Es gab Willkommensgeschenke und liebevolle Details. Alle Empfehlungen waren über das Willkommenspaket/Links verfügbar. Es gab viele aufblasbare Spielzeuge, die wir ausleihen konnten, um den Pool für unsere Kinder noch spaßiger zu machen. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Es war das perfekte Airbnb für uns. Place was even better than photos show. Very stylish, absolutely stunning views. Very quiet with only one neighbour who we rarely spotted. Nicolas was the perfect host - available to welcome us and answer any questions but also left us to get on with our holiday. Left some welcome gifts and lovely touches. All the recommendations available via the welcome pack/links). Plenty of inflatables to borrow to make the pool even more fun for our kids. We had a wonderful time. It was the perfect airbnb for us.

Die Fotos und die Beschreibung werden diesem Ort nicht gerecht. Die Villa liegt in einer wunderschönen Umgebung und es ist so ruhig. Der Pool war bei den Kindern besonders beliebt. Ein Auto ist notwendig, aber der nächste Strand und die Restaurants sind nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Elpis in Plaka ist wirklich preiswert und familienfreundlich, und Psaros in Alymrida ist großartig und bietet einen atemberaubenden Meerblick. Am Ende der Woche wollte ich gar nicht abreisen und werde auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Nicolas ist als Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und reagiert schnell, nichts ist ihm zu viel. Das lokal produzierte Olivenöl und der Orangenkuchen waren zudem ein willkommenes Geschenk in der Küche. The photos and description do not do this place justice. The villa is in such beautiful surroundings and it’s so peaceful. The pool was a firm favourite for the kids. You need a car but the nearest beach and restaurants are only 5 mins away. Elpis in plaka is really reasonable and family friendly and Psaros in Alymrida is great and has amazing sea views. I didn’t want to leave at the end of the week and will most definitely be booking again. Nicolas is really helpful and responsive as a host and nothing is too much trouble. The locally sourced olive oil and orange cake was a welcome gift in the kitchen as well.
